The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing sales and service in an
existing account base. The ultimate goal is retention, growth and
loyalty.
Duties and
responsibilities:

Manages an assigned sales base to maximize sales revenues and meet
company objectives.

Manage and initiate contract renewals of existing accounts

Work with the CRM to develop an action plan for each account
•
Successfully achieve sales quotas

Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams

Anticipate customers' needs and proactively contact with solutions
•
Attend and participate in sales meetings and trade shows
•
Document all pre-sales activity (quotes)

Act as the main point of contact for customers within your
territory.

Play the role of "customer advocate" to improve trust & loyalty

Handle day-to-day customer inquiries (i.e. order status, tracking
information, problem resolution, etc.)
